Permissions and Privacy

Similar to other ad-blocking extensions, default permissions are required to remove ads or pop-ups from embedded YouTube videos on all websites. It is important to note that any adblock detection occurs solely on the user's computer, and no tracking or data collection takes place.

How to Set Up

1. Open the app and click on the button displayed on the welcome screen. This will take you to the Settings screen. From there, select Safari (or for iPad, check the left pane) > Extensions > Adblocker For YouTube, and toggle the switch to activate it.
2. On the same screen, choose All Websites and grant permission for Adblocker For YouTube's extension to run on Safari across all websites. You are now ready to go! When you watch a video on Safari, you will notice Adblocker For YouTube's overlay menu.

Note: To access Adblocker For YouTube's settings, you can tap the "Manage Extensions" icon in your Safari address bar.

Please note that on iPhone, the overlay menu cannot be accessed while a video is playing in full-screen mode.

Safari may display a notice regarding read access to sensitive information and browsing history for the extension. This is a standard reminder that applies to all extensions.
